Welcome to Furniture Hideaway. By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. Products & Pricing

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. Product images, colors, dimensions, and specifications are provided as accurately as possible but may vary slightly.

2. Orders

All orders are subject to product availability and acceptance. Furniture Hideaway reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to pricing errors, inventory discrepancies, suspected fraud, or other unforeseen circumstances.

3. Payment

Full payment is required before an order is released for pickup or delivery. Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout.

4. Delivery & Pickup

Estimated delivery dates are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, transportation delays, stocks availability, or circumstances beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for ensuring safe and adequate access for delivery. Additional charges may apply for stairs, difficult access, failed deliveries, or redelivery requests.

Customers must inspect all products upon pickup or delivery and report any visible damage within 24 hours.

5. Returns, Refunds & Damages

Website vs. In-Store Purchases

Return policies for online purchases may differ from purchases made in-store. In-store purchases may be subject to promotional or clearance conditions stated on your sales receipt.

Returns

Eligible returns must be requested within 14 days of receiving the product.

Returned items must be:

  • Unused
  • In original condition
  • In original packaging

Items returned without original packaging may be subject to a restocking fee.

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used mattresses
  • Pillows, bed covers, carpets, and throw pillows
  • Used or damaged products
  • Items missing original packaging
  • Sale or clearance items unless required by applicable law

Proof of purchase is required for all returns.

Refunds issued to the original payment method may be reduced by any non-refundable payment processing fees charged by the payment provider.

Damaged Products

Damage must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or pickup.

Furniture Hideaway may provide, at its discretion:

  • Replacement parts
  • Product exchange
  • A comparable replacement if the original product is unavailable

Original packaging must be retained for any damage claims.

Damage caused while opening packaging (such as cutting fabric with a knife or box cutter) is not covered under this policy.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been inspected.

Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a confirmed manufacturer defect.

Exchanges

We replace products only when they are defective or damaged due to manufacturing or shipping.

6. Warranty

Furniture Hideaway provides a one-year structural warranty covering manufacturing defects in structural components.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Fabric wear or fading
  • Cushion softening
  • Accidental damage
  • Improper assembly
  • Misuse or neglect

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Furniture Hideaway's liability is limited to the purchase price of the product giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Privacy

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
